Inspiration is
An indubitable gift,
God given blessing,
But it is not required to
Perform the writer’s great work.

Creativity
Stirs within everyone’s soul,
It must be applied
With sublime dedication
Producing entrancing lines.

Believing one can
Accomplish many worthy
Goals leads to success,
Overwhelming happiness,
And highest public regard.

Each person achieves
Whatever their desires make
Manifest in life,
Writing is valuable-
A wonderful craft and art.

I am grateful:

1.   I was able to catch up my reading overnight.
2.   I found a parking place at the courthouse.
3.   I did not have to stand in line in the tag office.
4.   I took the power of attorney with me so I was able to get Mom’s handicap placard.
5.   I went by the library and picked up some wonderful books after over a year away from the library.

I stayed up all night and then went into town to take care of business today. I was quite busy. I hope you had a productive day as well. You know I believe you can create so get busy and apply some effort to making something wondrous.

As a prompt, make a commitment to work creatively regularly. Maybe you cannot do it each day, but you can devote a time each week. Write about your dedication to a plan. Then stick to your commitment. If you use this prompt, please leave a link to your work in the comments below. The accountability might help your resolve.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you found something that challenged and encouraged you here. If you have thoughts, suggestions, or criticism, please leave a comment. Maybe you need future updates delivered to your inbox, if so please subscribe to Chronicles.

Always,
Jo Ann
